Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)

The ECI program provides infants and toddlers with best practice home-based intervention. The ECI program provides each family with the tools they need to incorporate therapy in their child's day-to-day activities. ECI helps children birth to age 3 reach their full potential through services including physical therapy, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, developmental services and case management.

Overview

Easterseals Rio Grande Valley's Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program proudly serves all of Hidalgo and Starr Counties, providing developmental support for infants and toddlers from birth to age 3.

ECI activities promote growth and development in a child's natural environment and throughout everyday routines. As a parent support program, ECI helps families help their children reach their full potential through developmental services, including screening and assessment, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, special instruction, and family support.

If you have concerns about how your baby or toddler is growing and learning, talk to your child's doctor or contact us at 956-631-9171 or email us referrals@easterseals-rgv.org.
