The program serves parents with children parental to 5 years of age living in Hidalgo County and supports parents in 3 topic areas focused on parent-infant and parent-child interaction, home safety, and child health.

The SafeCare program helps support parents with positive engagement, safety & their child's health.
- The program serves parents of children 0 to 5 years of age and expectant mother's living in Hidalgo County.
- Home visitors come to your home for weekly sessions.
- 3 topic areas: Parent-Infant/Child Interaction, Home Safety, and Child Health.
What do you learn from from SafeCare?
- How to manage your family's daily routines
- Ways to increase positive time with your child
- How to make your home more safe
- How to keep your child healthy and reduce risk for illness and injury
