Easterseals RGV Family Resource Centers

The Easterseals Family Resource Centers (FRC) are located in Hidalgo and Starr Counties and serve as community-based sites that provides a wide range of support services and resources for parents and caregivers of young children. The focus of the FRCs is to promote the importance of child development and strengthen the well-being of the family through parenting workshops, health screenings, counseling, and making connections to other community resources.

The Easterseals Family Resource Centers (FRC) are place-based hubs of support for parents and caregivers with children prenatal to 5 years old living in Hidalgo & Starr Counties. FRCs provide community resources and supports to families to help in parent education and child development. Services for families include short-term counseling, parent-centered events, developmental screenings, parents workshops and basic needs. The Starr County FRC is located at the South Texas College campus in Rio Grande City, TX.
