Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY)

The focus of the HIPPY program is to encourage parents to prepare their children for school. We provide them with books and a curriculum that will help their children once they reach school to know their letters and their numbers and their shapes and be prepared.

The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program serves families with children ages 2, 3, or 4 years of age. This program gives families the opportunity to work with their child and help them develop the skills needed to start school and succeed. Through a school readiness curriculum, the HIPPY program supports parents as their child's best first teacher.
