Services:

The Easterseals Family Resource Centers (FRC) are hubs of support for parents, caregivers, and pregnant mothers living in Hidalgo & Starr Counties with children between birth to 5 years of age. The FRCs are place-based centers in the community where families with young children can find resources, basic needs and engage in parenting activities to help their children learn, grow and succeed.

This program provides:

  • Diaper pantry
  • Food to meet basic nutritional needs
  • Basic need items
  • Short-term Counseling
  • Resource Navigation
  • Access to Parent Education Programs
  • Child play area
  • Nursing Room
  • Access to Developmental Screenings
  • Parent-Centered Workshops & Events

Eligibility

  • This program serves mothers who are pregnant and parents or caregivers that have children that are ages 0 to 5 years of age.
  • Must live in Hidalgo or Starr Counties
